Typical applications
Below is where this material actually ends up — the specific parts, not just the industry. Compare it with your own service conditions, or send us the environment and we will advise.
- Chemical plant — tank shells, reactor jackets, pipe supports
- Water and environment — waste water basin liners, desulphurisation towers, desalination lines
- Industrial structures — walkways, silos, conveyor frames

- Further processing — feedstock for cold rolling, or decoiled into plate
Selection FAQ
- Can No.1 finish be used as-is?
- Yes, but it is grey and rougher. Visible structural parts are usually pickled or brushed afterwards.
- Hot rolled or cold rolled coil?
- Thicker material (generally above 3 mm), strength first, appearance secondary — hot rolled. Thin gauge, tight tolerance, good surface — cold rolled.
